Pumpkin Pickin'

While we live in Nashville, the city, it does not take long to get out and see some country. Ten minutes down the road, and we're pointing out the window at cows and horses in pasture. Saturday, we visited Gentry Farm, a family-owned farm that hosts a U-Pick pumpkin patch, hay rides, and good clean family fun. And let's just say, that by the end of the day, we were good, we were family, but we were definitely not clean. And, of course, it was fun.

This morning Ron left for Charleston, SC, for his first of eight interviews for his next step in training. He called me this afternoon and described Charleston as a "very fragrant" town, with scents in the air ranging from floral to sea scum. Tomorrow is the interview. I'm wishing him luck right now, via high-speed connection at the hotel.
Ahh, great pix! Good vibes for Ron too.

Charleston is beautiful town full of history and realy amazing houses...but, it's HOT there most of the year. I'm still (selfishly) hoping that the interview in Madison went/goes well. :)
